Lalla’s Story

We would like to have your attention on a very particular, almost exceptional, picture, because it could represent a concrete “proof” that Life goes on after the physical death.
However, in order to understand the events, I must present you the protagonists and also how I came to know of it.
It was April 1998 when, during the debate in a conference in Pisa on “the surviving of the spirit and manifestations from the other word”, from the audience a lady stood up and told of her direct experience and the many “proofs” that she had received from her dear ones from the “other Dimension”.
Among the different testimonies there was one that struck me in a particular way. The lady showed a normal picture of her daughter Rita Laura, nicknamed Lalla, the day that became a nun at San Domenico’s Monastery in Pisa. But the picture only seemed normal.
At the ceremony of taking the veil, besides her family, there were many of Lalla’s and her family’s friends.
At the centre of the picture one sees the dear Lalla – that after the ceremony took the name of Sister Maria Chiara – with a candle in her hand, around and behind her many people that were attending the ceremony. All seems apparently very normal. However , when the picture was stamped, among the people that were there that day, “appeared” an old lady with dark glasses( showed by an arrow), standing between two persons.
This old lady wearing a striped dress was Lalla’s grandmother, Zita, well known to her and to her relatives.
But, one may ask, where is the strangeness in all this?
Well, here is the strange thing.
During the ceremony no one had seen Zita and no one expected to see her since she died many years before.
When Lalla saw the picture with not little amazement and emotion she immediately recognized her beloved grandmother and was very stricken from this episode.
Here therefore the extraordinary event. A dead person, deprived of the physical body manifested herself in a very concrete way impressing the photographic film making herself visible.
The Parapsychology enumerates numerous testimonies of these experiences; nevertheless it is a very rare deal that a spiritual Entity manifests itself in a so perfect human semblance so to be considered as one of the persons in the photo.
Lalla’s grandmother very probably wanted to leave a proof of her presence because she couldn’t miss such an important appointment for her nice and she had been able to be revealed in virtue of that love that doesn’t exhaust after the physical death but continues – and perhaps it intensifies because the body is freed of limits – even in the other Dimension.
Nevertheless, some sceptic could object affirming that it could have been someone that looked like Zita.
Well, now is necessary to specify what follows:

1° – Mrs Zita was already dead at the moment of the ceremony and we keep a death certificate in our association.
2° none of the present ones, even those that knew Zita quite well, saw her or could imagine to see her because they knew she was dead. If someone that looked like Zita was there many would have been shocked because she was exactly like the real one. Besides the place was so small that all the guests knew each other.
3° the ceremony took place in July and it was very hot. All, except Sister Maria Chiara, dressed light clothes with short sleeves (as shown in the picture)
The lady that mysteriously “appeared” dressed in a long sleeved winter dress and well known to her relatives because it was the one that she mostly used.
Unfortunately after her death her daughter in law gave all of her clothes away to the poor ones and gave also away the one that she had in the picture , other wise we now would have another proof.

This extraordinary experience- that could be defined ” instrumental trans-communication” by the physicists or by the para psychologists – wasn’t the only one that Lalla had ever since she was a child.
Mrs Anna told of many other proofs that she had about Life over life. Then she narrated with emotion how just 5 years after the celebration that saw Lalla as a nun, at the age of 37, Lalla left this earth, silently, during the night, as if she didn’t want to disturb.
Other nuns found her in the morning and the doctors said that it was an embolism caused by the asthma of which Lalla had been suffering for many years.
Ever since her mother has picked up many proofs, not only on the surviving of her daughter from the Other Dimension, but many other that have described Lalla’s personality as a very gifted person ever since she was a child..
Such characteristics have certainly facilitated this extraordinary testimony
